Closer to the south of Sumatra, there is a region which is called Bengkulu today. With the location that is further from the coast of Melaka, Bengkulu has its own benefit. Amongst many ethnic groups in Bengkulu, Lebong and Rejang are those that achieve such sophisticated Tenun with their Tenun Delamak. While other ethnic groups are also known with their Tenun Serawai.

This one, is neither Delamak nor Serawai. The elegant simple tenun right here is Tenun Tampung. A very old one indicated with some color patches that creates a signature.
