A blend of brass and silver, this necklace comes from the antique pieces of Batak, a name employed to refer collectively to ethnic groups of Toba, Simalungun, Karo, Pakpak, Angola, and Mandailing from North Sumatra.
Batak people are known for their art in rituals, crafts, and literature; making them one of the artsy people in Indonesia. From warrior, poets, singers, to crafters, all goods handmade by these people show exquisite details and strong carving style.
