A signature of character, motifs from Kedungwuni has its own colors and little swirls that distinguish it from other motifs from Pekalongan.
Designed by the pioneer batik house of Pekalongan, Liem Ping Wie, this long cloth is adorned in Peranakan (Strait Chinese) motifs. This could be seen from decoration such as butterflies and burung Hong (phoenix) - symbols of immortality, beauty, and dignity.
With its horizontal little swirls as the isen, this long cloth is a gem from Pekalongan.
