An exquisite beauty of a charming and complex work of art! This Selendang is a charming and rare hand-sewn embroidery of Minangkabau’s embroidery technique, Sulam Kapalo Samek.

This seed-stitch embroidery knot is developed throughout Asia from China. From Shandong province where it’s called Dazi, to Koto Gadang where it’s called Kapalo Samek.
